When A Gay and a Non-Gay first launched, hosts James Barr and Dan Hudson were thrown together after their mutual friend Talia - Dan’s girlfriend and James’s best friend - moved to the US. Left to fend for themselves, the pair decided to make a podcast.

But when we say their worlds collided, we’re not just talking about podcasting. This is the queer and straight worlds meeting head-on - full of banter, boundaries, and unexpected lessons in empathy.

In this week’s #QueerAF, we ask: do we need straight allies to achieve the queer equality we crave and demand? Plus, we see what happens when hetero and homo crash together in a hilarious, heartfelt melee of rainbows, pints, and douching.
