Understand the LGBTQIA+ headlines and keep track of the latest queer content and perspectives. The QueerAF newsletter is written by Jamie Wareham and a different queer creative each week.

💬 This week:

  • Social Media Ban: We look at campaigners’ warnings that a social media ban could do more harm than good, and disproportionately affect LGBTQIA+ youth.
  • NHS Battleground: Employment tribunals against the NHS from gender-critical employees are stacking up. We connect the dots behind the stories.
  • Nan knows best: Grandparents are often underestimated in the fight for queer rights. For our Inclusive Journalism Cymru scheme, Taya Mwah sets out why we shouldn’t forget them in the fight ahead.

Skip the doomscrolling and support queer creatives instead. We are QueerAFand so are you.
