QueerAF Podcast: Season 3, Episode 2 – Presenter Jacob Edward takes us into the world of dating, lovemaking, and life-creating for those who are beyond the binary – listen now
In this episode:
Non-binary people continue to face misconceptions from society - including from within the LGBTQIA+ community. Around a year after coming out as non-binary, Jacob Edward, presenter of Queer Culture on the University of Salford’s student station Shock Radio, reflects on what’s been the best year of their life and the questions it’s raised about love, labels and sexuality.
After becoming comfortable with their gender identity, Jacob began to question their sexuality. If they’re no longer “gay,” does that make them straight, bi, or pan? And what does that mean for dating? Jacob explores how attraction and connection evolve when traditional definitions don’t fit - and what it really means to find love beyond the binary.
Featuring:
- Jacob Edwards – Presenter, Queer Culture, University of Salford
- Jamie Wareham - Journalist and broadcaster
