QueerAF Podcast: Season 3, Episode 3 – We speak to author Lev Rosen, whose novel Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) is as bold, sex-positive and empowering as the lessons we should all have been taught – listen now

In this episode:

This one’s NSFW - but it shouldn’t be. The book Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) has all the usual teenage twists and turns you’d expect - until our main character, Jack, starts a column dishing out sex advice. The advice he gives is exactly the kind of honest, inclusive guidance all queer people deserve. In fact, it’s what everyone should be taught if they want to have good, safe, and enjoyable sex.

Jamie Wareham chats to the book’s author, Lev Rosen, to break down how to have a good time, how often you should (or shouldn’t) be having sex, and how to take control of your sex life with confidence while drawing clear, vital lines around consent.

This week’s #QueerAF was supported by Penguin Books. Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) is available now in bookstores, as an eBook, and in audiobook form. All excerpts used in this episode were read by Drew Caden.

Featuring:

  • Lev Rosen – Author, Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts)
  • Jamie Wareham – Journalist and broadcaster
  • Drew Caden - Voice actor
