Every Saturday QueerAF helps you understand queer headlines and stay on top of the latest LGBTQIA+ content - all while we support queer creatives.
Matilda Davies writing to you this week, while Jamie takes a well-deserved break. I co-created The Queer Gaze and have been quietly involved with this newsletter since it was just a twinkle in Jamie's eye. Pleased to be back with you this week - with help from other queer creatives as usual!
π¬ This week:
- Rebel Wilson. Another celebrity being outed by the media is proof of why change is needed.
- Conversion therapy. We dive into the debate on conversion therapy for trans people in the House of Commons.
- Womxn. Knowing the right language to use isnβt always easy. Saba Ali is still learning how to make her language more trans-inclusive, and she takes us on the journey with her in the Queer Gaze.
Skip the doom scrolling and support queer creatives instead. We are QueerAF β and so are you.
